Contemporary life is both complicated and confusing. It's hard to keep up with all of the newest technologies, changes, and discoveries. Every area of our lives seem to be fluid, rushing forward in an endless current. We live in a world that values the latest, most innovative, cutting edge technology. We assume everything new is best.

The past, though, holds value for us. It gives perspective and constancy to our lives. Having something unchanging in our lives gives us stability and helps us remain anchored in a life lived in transition. Most enduring of all is unchanging character of God and His unchanging Word.
